Take the added stress out of the custom made designer dresses by confirming your size and colour before the final commitment of ordering.
Plus, your Try Before you Buy fee (or fees for multiple Try Before You Buy) will be credited towards any dress purchase (excluding sample sales) made from us once you have picked your perfect size, design and colour.
You may also request fabric samples in the notes section during check out to help with colour choice. If we have them available they will be included with your order.
If you would like to try dresses on before you purchase them to confirm size, design and colour, you can purchase directly from the Try Before You Buy options or arrange our $25 Try Before You Buy service quickly by contacting our amazing team to help you organise the perfect dress or dresses.
Try Before You Buy are $25 each and will come in our travel cubes with our Perfect Fit Kit (sizing guide and tape measure) to help with any additional measurements you may need to make. With this service, you can try on dresses for up to 7 days in the comfort and convenience of your home. The 7 days starts from the Couriers receipt of delivery and receipt of return must be no later then the 7th day. We do have a lot of Try Before You Buy dresses that get placed on a wait list for other bridal parties so your urgency and commitment to returning them on time is greatly appreciated. Please kindly return your Try Before You Buy(s) in the same condition you received them, including neatly folded within the travel cube. Each Try Before You Buy has been purchased by Bridesmaids Only to be able to offer you this service. Additional Fee’s and charges will apply if Try Before You Buy(s) are returned late, damaged, soiled/marked or missing. For the fee’s and charges plus the terms and conditions that you are agreeing to by purchasing a Try Before You Buy, please read this entire page.
Once returned, we will issue you a discount code for your Try Before You Buy fee that you can use on our site for any dress purchase that is not part of a sample stock sale or dramatically reduced stock. If you have damaged the dress (such as a stain or rip) a fee will be deducted to cover cleaning or repairs from your credit.
Dresses are shipped out via Australia Post Express and take 1-2 business days to most major Australian cities.
If you are not going to be able to return them within the 7 days please contact us urgently and we will try and work with you to come to a reasonable outcome. If you do not contact us and the Try Before You Buy is not returned within the time frame, your voucher code will be voided and we will start to charge the late fee’s as per our Late Fee’s and None Returned Try Before You Buy Conditions outlined below.
How do I return my Try Before You Buy(s) to you?
Please return our dresses on the 7th day and notify us. We highly recommend taking a photo of the package and receipt date with our address and the tracking number clearly readable for your own records and proof in case the Try Before You Buy is lost in transit. Return shipping costs are not covered by your Try Before You Buy purchase.
Please note that Try Before You Buy(s) are designs that we have purchased from the designers to be able to offer this awesome service to you. We kindly ask you look after each dress as though it was your own. A small fee may apply for any damages incurred under your care such as make up stains and rips.

Late Fee’s and None Returned Try Before You Buy(s)
Try Before You Buy period shall commence from when the Courier’s delivery receipt show’s the Try Before You Buy was delivered and will finish once the Courier’s receipt shows the User has returned it. A tracking number will need to be provided to confirm that you, the User, have shipped the Try Before You Buy back to our location, this is your proof of return so we strongly recommend you return via Australia Post Express or another courier companies equivalent. If you have any concerns we also recommend taking a photo of the satchel with Bridesmaids Only’s address and tracking number clearly readable. We take no responsibility for lost packages that have no evidence of return, and you, the User may incur late or replacement fee’s.
Where a Try Before You Buy has not been returned to Bridesmaids Only within 7 days of receiving it then Bridesmaids Only shall be entitled to charge additional Try Before You Buy fees until the Try Before You Buy is returned to Bridesmaids Only and the User expressly authorises Bridesmaids Only to deduct such additional Try before You Buy fees from the User’s credit card which was provided at the time of placement of the User’s order. Such additional charges shall be charged a fixed fee of $5 per Try Before You Buy for each day overdue. By placing your order with us you are agreeing to these terms.
When counting overdue days Bridesmaids Only shall not count either Weekends or Public Holidays when the post office is closed as being part of the overdue period.
If the User pays Bridesmaids Only an amount equal to 150% of the recommended retail value in late fees and the User still has the Try Before You Buy(s) in their possession, the Try Before You Buy(s) is The User’s to keep.
If the User has not returned the Try Before You Buy(s) within 30 days after the expected date, Bridesmaids Only will consider the Try Before You Buy(s) as non-returned and will charge the User’s credit card 150% of the recommended retail value.
The Commonwealth Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (“CCA”) and Fair Trading Acts (“FTA”)
Nothing in this agreement is intended to have the effect of contracting out of any applicable provisions of the CCA or the FTA in each of the States and Territories of Australia (including any substitute to those Acts or re-enactment thereof), except to the extent permitted by those Acts where applicable.
Where the User hires Apparel as a consumer these terms and conditions shall be subject to any laws or legislation governing the rights of consumers and shall not affect the consumer’s statutory rights.
