Additionally, we do have an amazing Try Before You Buy service where we ship the showroom dresses to you to try on from the comfort of your own home. All TBYB fee’s are given back as credit towards your final purchase.

Many of our designers are made to order dresses, which affects both returns policies as well as how long it takes to receive your dress(es).
Ready to ship dresses are ready to go and can be shipped within one business day. Most Talia Sarah and Dressology dresses are ready to ship and also can be returned or exchanged easily.

How long is delivery from purchase?
All of our ready to ship dresses, robes & accessories ship within 1-2 business days from our Brisbane location.
Australia:
Delivery takes 1-2 business days for express orders to metro areas, and 5 business days for all other areas.
Delivery takes 3-10 business days for parcel post orders to metro areas, and 5-15 business days for all other areas.
International:
Please contact us for international delivery costs and timeframes.
How do I work out what size would be best for me?
All our collections have a specific size chart on each product page. Make sure you have you measurements taken by a professional and compare them to the specific size chart provided for that collection. Please contact us with any questions you may have, our experienced stylists are always happy to help. You can also use or in home Try Before You Buy service. Learn more here!
What if I fall in between 2 sizes on the size chart?
Order the dress size that corresponds to your largest measurement. Most bridal parties require alterations for a formal fit, such as hemming, straps, and waistline adjustments. Unfortunately, alternations are not included.
Do you re stock sold-out items online?
Yes, we do! Keep an eye on our website for restocked items or ask us to notify you when a dress, robe or accessory is back in stock to avoid missing out. We might also be able to specially get your item for you to avoid the wait of a restock.
I am part of a bridal party but we are all ordering our own dresses – do we need to tell you?
If you are part of a larger bridal party and are ordering the same dresses in the same colour but placing your orders individually it is really important to let us know. Please make a note of this in the ‘comments’ section during check out by saying “Smith bridal party” so that we can make sure all the dresses come from the same dye lot.
Why do some dresses have a waiting period?
You might have noticed that most of our dresses are made to order and have a 8-16 week turnaround. Made to order means they are only made when your order is placed. The dresses are produced just for you in the colour and size you need, but please note they are not custom-made to your measurements. This is a different service that is only offered by designer Talia Sarah.
When Should I place my order?
We recommend ordering at least 16 weeks out for all made to order dresses to avoid rush fee’s and allow a comfortable timeframe for shipping and alterations.
What if I need it sooner?
We can certainly help you! There are rush options for all our ‘made to order’ dresses just in case you need it sooner (as little as 4 weeks!). They do have a small fee for the service. Please contact us with your wear date, and we will let you know the delivery options available. Each designer has different rush timeframes available.

Yes, we do! We have access to over 10000 dresses/colours between our stocked designers. Please contact us for more information on a colour you are wanting.

What size range do you offer?
We offer sizes 00-40AU / XS-5XL depending on the designer and dress.
How do I choose the best size for me?
Please refer to the size chart for the designer you wish to order and measure yourself accordingly. We would recommend having a professional take your measurements as well as utilise our Try Before You Buy Service which you can learn more about from the “What Is Your Try Before You Buy Service?” tab above.
How do I take my measurements?
In order to check what size dress you need, we recommend taking your bust, waist and hip measurements. Here’s how:
BUST: Place the tape measure under your arms and run it around the fullest part of your bust. Keep the tape measure as straight as possible.
WAIST: Find the natural waistline by bending sideways to show where your body naturally creases and measure around that section. This is usually the thinnest part of your waistline.
HIPS: Keep your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips.
Can I measure myself?
Yes, you can however we would recommend being professionally measured! Use the designers specific size chart as a guide.
What if I’m pregnant or have a pregnant bridesmaid?
Congratulations! We have maternity options available across several of our designers. Chat to our online stylists for extra help – we’ll need to know your estimated wedding date and current measurements to help you choose the perfect maternity bridesmaid dress.
How do I choose a style for a pregnant bridesmaid?
Generally if your bridesmaid will be under 4 months pregnant, order a larger size to accommodate your growing bump and bust. If over 4 months, choose a maternity style, which allows for more room through the belly. Don’t forget to consider bust size increases during pregnancy and post-pregnancy.
Returns: We want you to love your bridesmaid dress. Our return and exchange policy varies depending if the dress is made to order or ready to ship (in stock). If you need to return or exchange an item, please follow our guidelines below:
Eligibility:
- You may return our ready-to-ship dresses within 30 days from receipt of the item. Items must be returned in the condition you received them, unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with all tags attached. Ready to ship dresses are a select range from designer Talia Sarah and Dressology. All other designers are made to order.
Non-Returnable Items:
- Made-to-order dresses are specifically made for you and cannot be returned or exchanged. This is the returns/exchange policy given to us by each designer! Please ensure your measurements have been taken by a professional and the correct designer size chart has been used before ordering. Each designer has their own size chart.
- Ex showroom, ex sample sale, and ex try before you buy dresses are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. These dresses are sold as-is, reflecting their second-hand condition. For condition details, please enquire before purchasing.
Return Process:
- Email your return request to customersupport@bridesmaidsonly.com.au within 30 days of receiving your order. Please allow our team 1-2 business days to respond.
- Ensure all returned items are in original condition, neatly folded, unworn, with all tags attached, and free of any marks or pet hair. Items must be returned in the same packaging they arrived in.
Refunds:
- Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email about the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5 business days of receiving the returned item.
- Refunds will be issued back to the original form of payment used for the order. Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Please allow 3-5 business days for the refunded amount to appear in your bank account. If processed as a store credit, it will be available instantly.
Exchanges:
- If you wish to exchange an item, please indicate this in your return request email. Exchanges are subject to item availability.
- We will process exchanges promptly upon receiving the returned item in its original condition.
Faulty Items:
- Ready to Ship Dresses: Each dress is carefully inspected before delivery. If your dress is faulty, contact us immediately with a photo of the damage so we can offer a repair or exchange.
- Made to Order Dresses:
Each dress is carefully inspected at multiple points before delivery. We ask that you carefully inspect your dress as soon as you receive it and if you notice any damage contact us asap so we can help, please attach a photo of the damage so we can help as quickly as possible.
These are your Australian Fair Trading Consumer rights:- Custom-made items are still subject to consumer guarantees, but the rules are slightly different.
- If a custom-made item has a major problem, you are entitled to a refund, but the business may deduct a reasonable amount for the work done so far.
- If a custom-made item has a minor problem, the business can choose to repair or replace it, but they are not required to provide a refund.
- The business is not required to provide a refund or replacement if you simply changed your mind or if the problem is due to your own actions.
- It’s important to note that custom-made items are made to the customer’s request, so the customer is responsible for ensuring the measurements and specifications are accurate.

Returns: We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return or exchange a robe or pj/cami set, please follow our guidelines below:
Eligibility:
- All return or exchange requests must be made within 30 days of receipt of your order.
- Items must be unopened, still sealed in their original packaging, and in new condition.
Non-Returnable Items:
- Personalised items, such as embroidered robes, sleepwear, slippers, and cami sets, are not eligible for return or exchange.
- Worn or used items cannot be returned or exchanged.
Return Process:
- Email your return request to customersupport@bridesmaidsonly.com.au within 30 days of receiving your order.
- Please allow our team 1-2 business days to respond to your request. This response time does not count towards the 30-day return period.
- Ensure all returned items are in original condition, neatly folded, unworn, with all tags attached, and free of any marks or pet hair. Items must be returned in the same packaging they arrived in.
Refunds:
- Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email about the approval of your refund.
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5 business days of receiving the returned item.

Dyelots refer to the fabric dyed in a single batch. Due to the intricate nature of the dyeing process, slight colour variations can occur between different dyelots. However, we maintain a rigorous inspection.
If your bridal party is ordering separately it is really important to let us know. Please make a note of this in the ‘comments’ section during check out by saying “Smith bridal party” so that we can make sure all the dresses come from the same dye lot.
Can I return my item?

How Do I Return My Item?
If you purchased a ready to ship item that is able to be returned (check the ‘Dress Return and Exchange Policy’ tab above) please contact our customer support team so they can provide you with all the return shipping details. Once your item arrives back safely (we strongly recommend returning it via Australia Post Express and keep a record of your tracking number) we will do a final inspection to confirm that the dress is in brand new, original condition with tags attached as per our policy. A refund will be given to you in the same form as your original payment.
How long does it take to process a return?
We do a final inspection as soon as the item arrives and a refund is then issued. Payment is via the same method you used during check out and will generally clear within 1-7 business days depending on your bank.

Made To Order: Check each designers specific lead time first. All our Made To Order dresses will be inspected and shipped out within 1-2 business days of arriving to us from the designer. Our team will keep you updated but if you ever want to check on your orders progress please reach out, we are happy to help with your peace of mind.
Are there any additional postage costs?
Shipping is free for all orders over $120
Return shipping is unfortunately not covered, including the return of our Try Before You Buy dresses.
We would strongly recommend having them taken by a professional seamstress and keeping a record of those measurements. Make sure if you plan on toning up or loosing weight, you do not take your measurements until after you have achieved your goal.
To ensure the perfect fit, please use a soft measuring tape, keeping it snug but not tight and follow these simple steps for taking your measurements:
1. Bust:
- Measure around the fullest part of your bust, wearing the bra (or similar bra thickness) you intend to wear with your dress. Keep the measuring tape parallel to the floor and wrap it around your back and across the fullest part of your bust. Note that your bra size is not the same as your bust measurement.
2. Natural Waist:
- Your natural waist is the narrowest part of your torso. To find it, bend to one side and locate your natural crease. Measure around your torso at this crease, keeping the tape parallel to the floor. Ensure the tape is snug against your skin for an accurate measurement.
3. Hips:
- Stand in a relaxed position and measure around the widest part of your hips (typically around your bum), keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
4. Shoulder-to-Hem:
- This measurement determines the dress length from the hollow of your neck/base of your shoulders to the hemline. Wear shoes of a similar height to those you’ll wear with your dress. Measure from the hollow of your neck (centre of your collarbone) to the floor.
Keep a record of your measurements and make sure you use them against the correct size chart. Each designer has their own size chart that varies from one another. Some designers will have different size charts depending on the fabric or style of the dress.
